Mazni Abdul Kadir or better known as Jenn Kadir is a self taught flower crown maker. Jenn started her career in 2012 when her former boss challenged her to create a flower crown . Despite making a horrendous first crown and becoming a laughing stock, Jenn refused to give up. She experimented and combined artificial flowers with fresh flowers in order to make it authentic and last longer. Boom! Within a night, Jenn’s fame catapulted from zero to hero when famous blogger, Irine Nadia and daughter, Medina was found wearing one of Jenn’s flower crowns.
Like a dream come true, national wedding magazines such as, ‘Pengantin’ featured her floral crowns in their magazines and even in a 12-page spread. Jenn has also been invited by Mahligai Cinta to do a tutorial on her famous flower crowns in their show.
Jenn’s flower crown has been used by numerous models and photographers for product shot and has been worn by Malaysian artist such as Sariyanti, Ayda Jebat, Memey Suhaiza, Nelydia Senrose, Nad Zainal and even Azwan Ali.
Jenn believes that the art of flower arranging should be shared throughout the country cause it’s no denying they’re as precious as diamonds for women. Jenn prefers the use of Instagram to update her creations. She can be found on instagram as @Jennkadir and her flower crowns at @florairy.
